In the early 1800s, British sailors mistakenly thought the calcite crystals in the lava rocks they saw glimmering from a distance were diamonds, hence the name. Diamond Head is a volcano that has been extinct for 150,000 years. The crater is 3,520 feet in diameter with a 760 foot summit.

This small group guided tour takes guests to the iconic USS Arizona Memorial at the Pearl Harbor’s Visitor’s Center. Guests have tickets for the world- famous USS Arizona Memorial where, on December 7, 1941, the surprise attack on Pearl Harbor by Japan violently propelled the US into World War II.
